When is the best time to visit Jana Shobo?

The best time to visit Jana Shobo is during the dry season from June to October. However, you might consider visiting during the rainy season, when the water of the lagoon is high enough for canoeing deep into the rain forest. The lodge is also marvellously beautiful when surrounded by water. The name "Jana Shobo" was given to the lodge for this reason. In the Shipibo-Conibo dialect, Jana Shobo literally means "House on the water".
